I've just reviewed two right pieces of crap, what I need is a big time party band with fast riff-age and heavy melodies to rock out too. Enter my saviour, ICARUS WITCH. Their new album "Songs For The Lost" is a pure rock n roll extravaganze of the highest order. Powerful vocals, simplistic but oh so catchy riff-age and an all round feel and vibe that this band loves a good time and knows how to give one. If you like big hair solos, riffs that go on and on and flying long hair all night long, icarus Witch are definetely for you. Singign of things that creep in the dark, spells, shape shifting and all manner of mystical things, this band makes pleasant listanable music for those of a darker disposition and "Songs For The Lost" does them real credit. Thoroughtly enjoyable!
