For those of you who are diligent followers of Deathdoom and now of course There Is No Escape, No Hope, you may remember my review for KMFDM's "Extra Volume 1", the first in a three part series looking back at the history of KMFDM, with some cool new remixes and new tunes thrown in for good measure. Now it's time for part 2 in the series as KMFDM relive their glorious past! My only real criticism of this album is that there are too many remixes of the same songs, and that makes it kind of hard work to get through, but other than that this is all KMFDM in their industrial glory. Dark, loud and in your face, the way they have always been, thrilling many a fan for a very long time. I think the main feature that I like about KMFDM and especially from "Extra Volume 2" is the beat they always seem to generate and the variance of the bands creativity. It's never all the same thing and once again they have proved this. So with part 2 now behind me in KMFDM's warped nostalgia trip, I'm looking forward to the final showdown!!
