SONS OF ALPHA CENTAURI
[Sound Devastation Records]

Entirely instrumental and sporting some professional but almsot industrial artwork, UK rockers Sons Of Alpha Centauri have released their self titled album through Sound Devastation Records. Musically very pleasing, the band employ vast tempo changes that keep you guessing constantly and also have a wide variety of sounds and styles at their disposal to keep everything constantly fresh and new.

Sons Of Alpha Centauri are instantly likeable and have the ability to be fairly heavy and then within the blink of an eye are the most chilling thing you'll ever hear. It's very rare to hear an instrumental band these days but despite the absence of vocals and lyrics they do amazingly well at keeping you interested. Their music takes you on a journey, and far from the many cases of bands just playing for the sake of it, Sons Of Alpha Centauri seem to put alot of heart into their sound.

To sum up, very enjoyable and extremely well crafted, this album is instricate, subtle but often more in your face and eye catching. Everything melds together with great flow and precision and it all makes for quite a spectacular album! Ranging from remarkably upbeat to instantly haunting, this band will keep you on the edge of your seat.
